Redneck Romeo
Was getting very frustrated with Lava and was about to give up when I received a message saying"I'm single your single lets hook up". I thought "whatever" then I noticed his name as "saltybeef" which is a Newfie specialty and well being a Newfie myself I thought well why not...and thats how it began. We sent a few messages back and forth and decided to exchange # and decided to meet that night. He lived in Barrie and I lived in Toronto which is about an hour away but he drove down that night, since I don't drive, and the romance began! When I first met him I couldnt understand a word he was saying his Newfie accent was strong but he was a true gentleman which as many women know on dating sites is a rareity! I am the type of women that likes to dress up and he was very casual jeans, teeshirt and when we went into the restaurant noticed his license plate said "Redneck" made me chuckle and thats why I call him my Redneck Romeo. That was the beginning and we have been going strong ever since. He took over role of father to my 2 boys whom adore him and he treats them like his own, he was never married and no children so I was worried about if he would connect with my boys but almost immediatly they loved him as does almost everyone that meets him. I was worried also about the distance since I didnt drive he would do all the travelling but not once did he complain and when we moved into together he travels everyday an hour each way to work and back. We had our heartbreaks I had 2 miscarriages that devestated me knowing how much he wanted them, but he said that he has 2 boys and they are the love of his life which makes me realize what an amazing man that I found...Tony would give me the world if he could but his love is enough for me. We recently bought a house in Barrie and are moving in June that way he doesnt have to travel back and forth everyday and I am so happy to say that I am 5 months pregenant with our first child and he is like a kid in a candy shop! Our lives come Sept our family will be complete ...in our new home..our kids ...and more love for one another than we could ever imagine
